Oslo action plan workshop participants
One of the outcomes from the Meeting of the Parties to the 1973 Agreement in Tromso in March 2009, was that the PBSG was asked to give input to the Parties as to which elements that should be included in national action plans for polar bears. The PBSG agreed to give such advise at the 2009 Copenhagen meeting.Consequently, invited by Norway and hosted by the Norwegian Polar Institute, 12 of the members of the PBSG met in Oslo three days in February to discuss the details of such advise to the Parties. The outcome document was reviewed by the all the 25 members of the group before it was presented to the Parties.
