The 15th meeting of the PBSG is over

The IUCN/Polar Bear Scientist Group convened for five full days in Copenhagen, discussing a range of issues pertaining to conservation of polar bears. The meeting output consisted inter alia of eight resolutions on a variety of issues, e.g. climate change, pollution studies, need for new population estimates and more. There were 41 participants, consisting of 18 members and a record number of invited specialists.
